Peeing in Her Majesty's Garden

Mish and I ran the Taut Rainforest 10K at Regents Park last weekend. Unfortunately, they didn't plan their loos very well, and whereas we thought we'd left ourselves masses of time to do the "once more" thing before the race, the queue was massive and it was clear we wouldn't get throught it in time for the start. So, we made an unofficial loo in a large cluster of bushes in the park. When we emerged from our rest stop, we discovered that many others had done the same. Her Majesty, I'm sure, would be pleased to know her subjects were making such creative use of her flora and fauna. I did OK considering I've plumped up since my last run, I think I picked up a niggly achilles tendon thing and I would have liked to do more training beforehand. I did 1:15 chip time (1:16 my watch time). I have another one at the end of November. I'm resting up to make sure I get rid of a few little injuries beforehand, but will get to try to improve that time... Go team!
